Rugby 4 Change

Rugby 4 Change is aimed at educating children in their final year of primary school about how to stay safe within their community as well as about the dangers of gang activity.

We use the game of touch rugby, fused with youth work games and activities to bring the messaging to life. Delivered over 12 weeks, each session is an hour long but there is flexibility to adapt to the school’s availability and practicalities.

The Rugby 4 Change programme will work towards the following three outcomes:

1. Increased knowledge of personal safety.

2. Improved understanding of the dangers of country lines drug gangs.

3. Improved ability to assess risk and how to ask for help.
