On Tuesday Caine went to the House of Lords to attend an event hosted by Laureus and Zellar to meet and talk to people in the environmental sustainability, sports, and charity sector and to listen and learn from the speakers of the evening who shared insight and experience in the world of sport and sustainability.
Caine was introduced to Zellar (a sustainability and environmental reporting software) by Laureus through our Chair of Trustees, Vicky and through Vicky, we were invited by Laureus to be part of a programme to help Zellar learn from charities’ experiences of their new software, which help report accurately on emissions in their operations. It has helped us create emissions reports and see how we have been doing over the last couple of years and what we can do better moving forward in our quest to become carbon neutral.
Caine learnt a great deal, met many interesting and knowledgeable people and spoke to experts from Zellar who work on the project and who were able to explain how TCF and other charities have been using and benefiting from using the Zellar software.
